Which of your Regulars are ideally suited to help you with marketing?
Have your best Regulars share in the bounty of the new sales they generate
Not all Regulars are the same.

Just like not all of your social media followers want to see every one of your posts. Each of your Regulars has a multidimensional set of interests, as well as varying levels of availability, personal skills, and networks.

The important thing is to figure out which, among your Regulars, are the best positioned to help you with marketing. Here are a few factors to consider:

Personality: When it comes to marketing, word of mouth is everything. How charismatic, convincing, and articulate is your Regular? The best salespeople are the ones with engaging personalities and, of course, the gift of gab.


Technological ability: How tech-savvy is the Regular? Does she post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with regularity? Does she wield an impressive following? The more able your Regular is when it comes to technology platforms, the more likely she'll help you get the word out among the people in her network. Which leads to the next point...


Network: Does your Regular have a big social media following? Does she attend a local university? Does she work at the nearby high school, hospital, or mall? Perhaps your Regular sits on the ethics committee for your town, or on the Board of Directors at the local library or YMCA. Try to select Regulars for your marketing team who have a wide reach, because they will be able to help you most when it comes to attracting new customers.


Attitude: This may be the most important point. How enthusiastic is your Regular about being one of your chosen marketers? Is she brimming with ideas, and willing to go above and beyond in the effort? Your Regulars may love your business, have great personalities, be tech-savvy, and enjoy large networks, but if they're not passionate about helping you do marketing, they may not be the best fit. Unbridled enthusiam is the key to successful collaboration. Be on the lookout for it!


Find those Regulars who are socially adept, tech-savvy, well-networked, and enthusiastic. Make them your marketing force.
